The Law Offices of Dennis F. Fabozzi limits its practice to real estate, business, civil litigation and estate planning. We handle cases in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego counties. The present billing rate is $195.00 to $295.00 per hour for attorneys and $125.00 per hour for paralegals. Our goal is to provide the finest legal representation at a moderate cost. Our experience in representing numerous financial institutions, real estate developers, and businesses enables us to provide seasoned, economical and thorough representation to our clients.


Dennis F. Fabozzi graduated from Arizona State University (B.S. 1974) and Loyola Law School, Los Angeles (J.D. 1977). He practiced law in Orange County from 1977 until 1999 when his practice was relocated to Temecula, California. He was counsel in several published cases including Sam Jones, Trustee for Bradford Securities vs. Great American Savings & Loan (Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal-reverse repurchase agreement totaling $16 million); Robert Mosier,Trustee for Irvine Ranch Markets vs. Kroeger Company (Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal); Wiser vs. Pacific Inland Bank (State Court of Appeal-alleged wrongful foreclosure of trust deed).

Mr. Fabozzi is a member of the State Bar of California, Orange County Bar Association and Riverside County Bar Association. He has been admitted to practice in all U.S. District Courts in California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal. Mr. Fabozzi is rated AV, the highest rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the recognized directory of attorneys. Since 1997 he has been listed in the directory of Pre-Eminent Lawyers of America. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Southwest Riverside County and Riverside City and County.

From 1981 to 1994, Mr. Fabozzi was managing partner of Fabozzi, Prenovost & Normandin, where he managed all complex litigation in this 46 person firm. From 1994 to 1998 Mr. Fabozzi was managing partner for Fabozzi, Thierbach & Caley, a 16 person firm located in Orange County, California.


Edward J. Miller graduated from University of Phoenix (B.S. 2002) and Thomas Jefferson School of Law (J.D. 2005). He has been with the firm since 2003, having clerked with Mr. Fabozzi for a number of years prior to becoming licensed. He is involved in civil litigation, real property, business and estate planning. He is a member of the State Bar of California, American Bar Association, United States District Court (Central and Southern District), Riverside County Bar, Southwest Riverside County Bar and Phi Alpha Delta, the country's oldest legal fraternity.  He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Mount San Jacinto College Foundation.

Prior to practicing law, for more than a decade Mr. Miller held varied corporate positions with major retailers, where he was responsible for corporate development and sales for California, Arizona and Nevada. He has experience managing multi-million dollar corporate accounts and business ventures.


Kitty A. Baker graduated from San Diego State University (B.A. summa cum laude, 2003) and California Western School of Law (J.D., magna cum laude, 2007).  She has been with the firm since 2009.  She is involved in civil litigation, business and real estate law.  She is a member of the State Bar of California, American Bar Association, United States District Court (Central and Southern District), Riverside County Bar, Southwest Riverside County Bar and Phi Alpha Delta, the country's oldest legal fraternity.

During law school, Mrs. Baker was a member of the California Western Law Review and the California Western International Law Journal.  She also externed for the Hon. M. James Lorenz (U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California) and the Hon. Jacqueline M. Stern (Superior Court of San Diego).  Mrs. Baker clerked for the California Attorney General and presented oral arguments in the California Court of Appeal.


Marie E. Wood graduated from University of Phoenix (B.S. 2005) and Thomas Jefferson School of Law (J.D. magna cum laude, 2009).  She is involved in civil litigation, business and real estate law.  She is a member of the State Bar of California, United States District Court (Central and Southern District), Riverside County Bar, Southwest Riverside County Bar and Phi Alpha Delta, the country's oldest legal fraternity.

Prior to practicing law, Ms. Wood was a paralegal for ten years.  She has been with the firm since 2004, having worked as a paralegal for a number of years prior to becoming licensed.  During law school Ms. Wood was a member of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review.  Ms. Wood is fluent in Spanish.


William J. Sarrus (of counsel) graduated from University of Vermont and Southwestern University Law School.  He is involved in civil litigation, business and real estate law.  He is a member of the State Bar of California, United States District Court and Orange County Bar.  Mr. Sarrus is of counsel and brings thirty years of litigation experience to the firm.

Mr. Sarrus represents the firm's clients in the Orange County and surrounding areas.


Chrystal James graduated from Stanford University, (B.A. 1998) with honors and UCLA School of Law (J.D. 2002) with specialization in Corporate Law, where she achieved moot court honors and was a distinguished advocate.
Ms. James brings over eight years experience in environmental law, real property law, energy law, land use, oil and gas law, public law and general litigation. Prior to joining our firm, Ms. James was an associate at Meyers, Nave, Riback & Silver where she represented both private and public clients in numerous state and federal civil actions involving environmental cleanup and abatement, oil and gas operations, lease disputes, water contamination actions, land use issues, First Amendment rights claims and property damage. Ms. James also served as a Deputy City Attorney to a Coachella Valley city and as deputy special counsel to a Southern California special district entity. Ms. James represented over 32 public entities as amicus curiae in a published decision before the California Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division Three.

She is a member of the California State Bar Association, United States District Court (Central, Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts), Los Angeles County Bar Association, and Black Women Lawyers Association.


Timothy K. Schaaf (of counsel) Mr. Schaaf is retired from the Riverside County District Attorney's Office and brings with him extensive trial experience. With a 97% conviction rate at trial, he was the first person in the history of the office to win each of the three most coveted "Prosecutor of the Year" awards.

Prior to entering the field of law, Mr. Schaaf was a member of the U.S. Army Special Forces, the "Green Berets" and was assigned to the Top Secret Studies and Observations Group, from 1967-1969, during the Vietnam War. His combat awards include the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster and "V" Device, the Purple Heart, and the Presidential Unit Citation.
